Stefano Gasparini – a.k.a Don Juan – is an Italian singer-songwriter currently based in Prague. Growing up on a farm in middle Italy, Gasparini toyed with multiple instruments and genres. His current musical output spans folk and country, infused with grunge and punk sensibilities. Much of Gasparini’s discography is in English, and reveals hints of an early musical diet involving the Velvet Underground, Violent Femmes and the Beatles as key ingredients. After wowing Czech crowds in his newly adopted city, Gasparini has been notching up a small cult following across Europe, touring the Continent in 2017 with fellow Italians Soviet Soviet. The first album “Sad Career of Mr F.” was live recorded directly on tape in 2015. Released with Coypu Records on 2017. Other releases: Single “I don’t care” and a home made recording demo titled “Ahoj Don Juan” 2019. Currently finished to record its second album with a back up band. Will see its release beginning of 2022.
